Felpolino - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Felpolino (the "Bot"), a Discord bot developed and operated by Smidul ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Bot or enabling it in a Discord server, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot or ask a server administrator to remove it.

1. Eligibility and Discord rules

You must be eligible to use Discord under Discord's own terms and applicable law. Your use of the Bot must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Developer Terms of Service, Developer Policy, and Community Guidelines, as well as applicable law.

2. Permitted use

Felpolino provides community features such as server events, message-based participation goals, games and virtual items, leaderboards, profile and member information, role-related utilities, and administrator-configured features. You may use these features only in ways permitted by these Terms, Discord's rules, and the rules of the server where the Bot is used.

You must not abuse, disrupt, exploit, or attempt to interfere with the Bot; use it to spam or harass people; evade server rules; or use the Bot to violate another person's rights or applicable law. Server administrators are responsible for their configuration of the Bot, including enabled modules, channels, event rules, and role settings.

3. User content and server actions

The Bot may process Discord messages and related event data to provide features described in the Privacy Policy. The Bot may transform and repost a message when an administrator has enabled the Chaos mode. The Bot may add or remove server roles when configured or required by the server's role rules. Server administrators remain responsible for permissions and configuration, and users should follow their server's policies when participating.

4. Virtual items and rankings

Items, currencies, achievements, collections, and ranking data provided by the Bot are virtual features with no cash value and are not transferable property unless a feature expressly allows an in-server transfer. We may modify, reset, rebalance, or discontinue these features to maintain or change the service.

5. Availability and changes

The Bot is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version at the policy location. The updated date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Bot is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that stored game or ranking data will never be lost. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Bot. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or discontinue access to the Bot when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law or Discord's rules, or address abuse. A server administrator may remove or disable the Bot at any time.

Please read the Felpolino Privacy Policy for information about data processed and stored by the Bot, including how to contact us with a privacy request.

9. Contact

For support or privacy requests, contact @smidul through the Server do Felpinho. Do not send passwords, bot tokens, or other account credentials.

10. Source code

The Felpolino source code is distributed under the AGPL-3.0-only license. The software license is separate from these Terms, which govern use of the hosted Bot service.
