Felpolino - Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Felpolino (the "Bot"), developed and operated by Smidul ("we," "us," or "our"), processes information when used in Discord servers. It should be read together with the Terms of Service.
1. Information processed
Felpolino processes information made available through Discord and information generated by its features, including:
- Discord identifiers for users, guilds, channels, roles, messages, and other Discord objects needed to operate commands and server features.
- Server configuration, including enabled modules, event and egg settings, channel and role settings, paid-role configuration, and leaderboard settings.
- Per-user and per-server game data, which may include message participation counts, inventories and virtual items, achievements, upgrades, effects, redeemed goals, game statistics, role-related feature records, and leaderboard preferences.
- Message data in real time when needed for enabled features. Depending on the feature, this may include message text, attachments, embeds, polls, author and channel context, and nearby message context. For example, the Chaos mode transforms and reposts eligible messages; message goals count participation; and egg events evaluate configured message conditions. The bot's data models store message counts and game/configuration data; they are not designed to store full message text as a message archive.
- Member and role information needed for commands, profile/member displays, eligibility checks, and automated role rules. Presence status and activity information may be processed to display status/streaming indicators and to run Easter event mechanics, such as activity-based egg conditions.
- Operational data needed to run, secure, debug, and maintain the Bot, such as error details and service logs. Logs may include Discord identifiers and technical context; users should not send secrets or credentials to the Bot.
2. How Felpolino uses information
We process this information to provide the Bot's features, including games, event mechanics, participation goals, rankings, profile displays, role eligibility checks, server configuration, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and service security. Message content and presence data are used only when relevant to the feature being executed. We do not use message or presence data to train machine-learning or AI models, and we do not use them for advertising.
3. Storage and service providers
Felpolino stores user preferences in a database and stores server settings and per-member game/participation records in MongoDB outside Discord. Message content is processed to perform enabled features; the Bot's member/game data model does not function as a persistent archive of full message text. Discord itself may retain messages and other data under its own policies.
The Bot is hosted on infrastructure selected by its operator. Database and hosting providers may process data on our behalf to provide the service. We do not sell personal data. We do not disclose data except as needed to operate the Bot, comply with law, protect the service, or respond to valid requests.
4. Retention and deletion
We retain stored configuration and game/participation data while it is needed to operate the Bot. Records may remain after a user leaves a server or the Bot is removed because the Bot may not know that an account or server has been deleted. Leaving a server does not automatically delete stored records. You may ask us to delete data linked to your Discord user ID or server. We will review the request and delete records we can identify when deletion is appropriate and permitted. Operational logs and backups may persist for a limited period according to hosting and backup operations.
5. Choices and controls
Server administrators can disable applicable modules or restrict features to configured channels where those controls are available. This is not a universal per-user opt-out from message processing. Presence and message data are processed for enabled Bot features; contact us or ask a server administrator to disable the relevant feature if you do not want it used. Commands and features may not work when required data is unavailable or the relevant feature is disabled.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to operate the Bot, but no service or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Never send passwords, authentication tokens, or other secrets to the Bot or its operators.
7. International processing
The Bot and its database or hosting providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Bot's features or data practices change. We will publish the current version at this location and update the date above. Continued use of the Bot after the updated policy is published is subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Contact and requests
For privacy questions or data requests, contact @smidul through the Server do Felpinho. Include your Discord user ID and, if relevant, the server ID so we can locate associated records. Do not include passwords, tokens, or other credentials.
